Man, it’s getting really hard to take California seriously. Not that it was ever easy, mind you.

I just finished reading this page. It took me about two hours. It’s very funny, but don’t start reading it, unless you’ve got an hour or two to kill.

One week until ComicCon!
I’ve just been looking at the programming schedule. Lots of goodness. One downer: the Fururama panel overlaps the Kevin Smith talk, so I guess I’m going to have to choose one over the other.

Obsession
OBSESSION: It’s really been bugging me that my Merrill Lynch account has been a little bit off for the past few months. They make their statements very hard to read, so I couldn’t quite figure out what I was missing. Well, tonight, I figured it out. I hadn’t recorded 67 cents in interest that I got back in November. I feel much better now.

I find the funniest stuff at crabwalk. Behold: D&D Monster Ratings — this is really funny. Brought back memories of playing D&D with my geeky friends back when I was 13 or so. I guess I never thought about how messed up some of the monsters are. Here’s a good quote: “As far as I know, the idea of a six-legged panther with squid tentacles that looks like it’s somewhere other than it really is originated in the mind of D&D creator E. Gary Gygax, possibly as the result of blunt trauma.”
