Hi. My name is Andrew Huey. I’m a computer programmer. I live in Somerville, NJ. I started this blog, on Blogger, in 2001. It stayed there until May 2014, when I moved it to a self-hosted WordPress install.
This is my personal blog. It’s not a focused professional blog. There is really no purpose to this blog, other than as a place for me to post stuff that I find interesting, or that I think may be useful or interesting to others. These days, I do a lot of “thinking out loud” on this blog, which may or may not be interesting to others.
Professional
I’m a Senior Software Engineer at SHI International, where I work primarily in .NET/C# across Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365. I have an Azure Developer Associate certification (AZ-204). Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time exploring AI-assisted engineering tools: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot CLI, and how AI fits into everyday development workflows. Some of that exploration shows up as posts on this blog.
Personal
I’m a big comic book fan, and enjoy attending conventions such as San Diego Comic-Con, and New York Comic-Con. I’m also a fan of New York museums, such as the Met and MoMA. (I honestly haven’t been getting out as much, post-pandemic, so there’s less stuff about con and museum trips these days.)
