I applied SP 2 to my home machine today. So far, no problems. I spent a lot of time at work testing it and reading up on it over the last couple of weeks. Given all the press it’s gotten, I kind of expected something more drastic.

No More Palm.Net
Palm.Net to cease 31 August: I discontinued my Palm.Net account some time ago, but I still have my Palm i705. I guess the antenna is officially useless now. Oh well. The web service on my cell phone is pretty bad. Time to switch to a Treo 600 maybe?

I’m not sure I like the way the comments look, so I think I need to do more work on the Blogger template. It’s almost 11pm now, though, so I should really consider giving up for the night and going to sleep. Maybe next week…
Blogger Stuff
I just made a number of changes to my Blogger template, to add a permalink to each post, and to allow comments. I set it up so that you need to be a registered Blogger user to leave comments, since I’m worried about comment spam, after Heather’s recent experience.

These guys had a booth at San Diego that was mobbed all weekend. They’ve got some good stuff. It took me a while to find their web site, though.
Airport Express
The old Airport Base Station died again this morning, so I’m definitely giving up on it now. It seems to work for only a few hours after doing a hard reset and reloading everything, then it dies.
I just hooked up the Airport Express, and it’s working great. I have it sitting on my desk, so I can see the little green light. It’s small enough that I could just leave it on the floor, but I like being able to see if it’s working or not. It’s kind of hard to get it to stand up on the desk; I wish there was a little stand for it. Other than that, it’s great.
