SignOnSanDiego.com has a little write up on Comic-Con. And this blog on their site has some stuff too. Mark Evanier’s schedule is up here. The weather looks good so far too.

Comic-Con 2005
The preliminary programming schedule is up at the Comic-Con page. The PDF version is 52 pages. Yikes.
COHEED AND CAMBRIA
Wow. I was just checking out the web site for Coheed And Cambria, and they’ve got a note up that they’re going to have a booth at Comic-Con. And they’re playing two shows in S.D. during the con. That’s just too cool.
San Diego hotel stuff
This article has a good write-up on the San Diego con hotel situation. Interesting quote: “The fact of the matter is that Comic-Con International is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, annual convention to hit San Diego.” No kidding. Attendance last year was counted at 87,000. There’s more hotel news here.
Comic-Con
Today is the first day that Comic-Con hotel reservations can be made. I managed to snag a room in a decent hotel not too far from the convention center, but it wasn’t in my first, second, third, or fourth choice! It looks like there’s been a mad rush on hotel space for the con. I think anyone looking for a hotel room past the end of this week is probably going to be out of luck. (Either that, or there’s something wrong with the hotel reservation site, and they’re just not showing all the available rooms.)
On a related note, only a couple of more weeks until National Gorilla Suit Day.
DrunkenMaster.tv
These guys had a booth at San Diego that was mobbed all weekend. They’ve got some good stuff. It took me a while to find their web site, though.
SDCC
I’ve seen a couple of places online, Steven Grant’s CBR column for instance, mention 100,000 as the attendance figure for this year’s Comic Con. I wouldn’t have guessed that high, but it’s certainly possible.
Revenge of the Sith
Maybe I should have bought a Revenge Of The Sith T-shirt at Comic-Con. I could have made a profit!
Star Wars
Star Wars related Comic-Con coverage from Rebelscum.com. Lots of pictures.
Unfortunately, I missed nearly all of the Star Wars stuff at the con. I was mighty impressed by the huge Star Wars pavilion, though.
