I just bought the new CDs from The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and Coheed and Cambria. Okay, the last one isn’t quite as mainstream as the first two, but it’s still way more mainstream than some of the other stuff I’ve been listening to lately!

NYC MTA on PSP
Greedo Never Fired has an NYC subway map that should be usable on the PSP.
iPod Subway Maps
iPod Subway Maps: possibly a good excuse to get a color iPod, except that NYC’s MTA sent them a cease & desist letter, so there’s no NYC map right now.
NeoMem
Neomem looks like a really neat little organizer. I played around with it a bit yesterday. I’d probably switch to it over my current organizer, Vault, if only there was a keyboard shortcut to paste the current date & time into a note. That’s a must-have for me. It’s open-source, though, so maybe I can figure out how to add that feature myself.
House of Cosbys
This thing is pretty funny.
spending money
My new mattress is mighty comfy. Definitely worth the money.
I ordered a new iBook today. Basically, the current standard 14″ model, with the RAM upped to 1 GB. I’m getting almost $500 for my old one, which pays for a bit under half the new one. Good deal.
Mattress shopping
As I sit here waiting for my new mattress to be delivered, I thought I’d check out the Wikipedia article on mattresses. Really, I should have checked this *before* buying a mattress, but heck, I think I made a good choice anyway. I guess I’ll find out after I sleep on it tonight.
The wikipedia article recommends spending about 10 minutes on the mattress in the store before committing to it; I’ve seen other articles recommend an hour. I just can’t imagine spending more than a minute or two on a mattress in the store, though. Anything more would just seem creepy.
Flying Spaghetti Monsterism
Heather pointed out the Flying Spaghetti Monsterism site to me a while ago. Very funny. And now it has a wikipedia page.
iTunes 5
You know, I completely missed this until I saw it mentioned in an article today. iTunes 5 has playlist folders! I’ve been waiting for this one for quite a while. It’s a really obvious feature, and I could never understand why it wasn’t there.
Angels on the Bowery
I might be going to this thing on Sunday. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Mr. Gaiman.
