WNEW Cutting Talk Format to Focus on Free-Form Music
This would be really good news, if their “Free-Form” format was really free-form. They mention Michelle Branch, the Dixie Chicks and Etta James, but if they were really free-form, they’d be playing Squirrel Bait, Fugazi, Jimmy Scott, and Etta James. Or something like that. Oh, and their logo is pink. That’s a bad sign. Maybe eventually they’ll find their way back to being a good radio station. Well, that’s my rant for the day. Hope you enjoyed it.

Swish
I just got finished playing around with Swish. I created a dinky little Flash animation and put it up on this page in place of the old jpeg logo. I can’t see myself doing a lot of Flash stuff, but knowing at least a little about it may come in handy someday.
Kenshin
Today’s Kenshin was the last episode from DVD #3, concentrating on Yahiko. It’ll be interesting to see if they keep showing them in the proper order. If so, they ought to be showing stuff from DVD 4, False Prophet starting tomorrow. This is sure a lot cheaper than buying all the DVDs.
Horn & Hardart
There’s a sign on the building a few doors down from me indicating that it will soon be a Horn & Hardart. Could be interesting. Can’t have too much coffee.
diet
Yikes! My brother and his wife are on a diet. I’ve been fairly stable lately, not expanding or contracting, but I could sure stand to lose a few pounds. There have been a lot of goodies in work lately, though, and nothing resolves stress quite like a doughnut. I could probably lose a lot of weight if I could just retire from work, and spend all day reading comics.
